Fri 9th April..

Our Aintree runner today is RED FORCE ONE who is in the Conditional Jockeys Handicap Hurdle with Joe Williamson on board for owners The Yorkshire Puddings. It goes without saying it will be a tough ask in the usual fiercely competitive races at this meeting, but great to see him in the line up and we hope to see him make a good effort and come home safe and sound. Pictured above with Jodie.

The other runner of the day is HIGH MOOR FLYER returning to Sedgefield, a half sister to Wye Aye and does hold the family trait of being a little quirky – she runs with full throttle and needs her head keeping right – who better for the job than Wye Aye’s jockey Colm McCormack! We hope to see her progress further with settling in her races today and avoid the unfortunate parting company with Colm here last time out. Owned by Phil himself, we wish both todays runners the best of luck.

Good news for Tonto aka My Strong Man has had a quiet week following his heavy fall at Wetherby and after having a visit to get his back checked over is thankfully none the worse.
