Todays runners are Alsvinder, Madeeh and The Resdev Way at Chester, a track with great atmosphere – although we feel it will be lost a little with the dreaded covid restrictions. First up we have the good looking Alsvinder in the 4:10 carrying a handy enough weight, ridden by Jimmy Quinn for owners Alan and David Fairhurst – good luck to all. Madeeh and The Resdev Way are both in the 5:40. Madeeh remains in fine form at home and will be looking to make it a hat trick tonight along with his wins last month at Musselburgh and Catterick. He should handle the track and there is no reason to believe he can’t defy his rise in the weights following his recent success, with the slight up in trip also favourable for this nice progressive horse. Ridden by his partner for recent double Kevin Stott, we wish him the best of luck for his Harbour Rose Partnership.

The Resdev Way is also going well at home with his regular rider Victor informing me he is expecting a good run. He didn’t seem to act around Pontefract last time out and we hope we see him hold a better account of himself here tonight. He is a multiple winner and is coming to a nice mark now, ridden by Paula Muir who has previously won on him for owners Resdev. Good luck to all our runners, riders, owners and connections, with coming back safe the number one priority.
