Thursday 21st June

Lady Chloe watches her 2 year old Authorized colt on the gallops.

Its been a breezy couple of days at Green Oaks – but the sun has been shining and the warm summer for the North continues! It’s the longest day of the summer – the nights start getting darker tomorrow, can hardly believe it. We like these photos of Lady Chloe – and her Doyen filly foal who Is a real little charmer.

We’ve got one runner today, Richard Strauss in the Ladies Derby at Ripon and he has a sound chance judged on his good 2nd at Haydock last time out.  The green PKR Horsebox is actually at Lincoln Horse Show tonight though,  ready for a 7.30 class start for Indy Kirby in the morning – let’s hope we can get a racing/ showing double.

Karen and Helen absolutely loved their Macmillan ‘Ride for life’ Charity Race last Saturday. Karen cane a close 3rd, and looked very stylish in a driving finish! Tekkibleu behaved well and kept on for Helen, she told me today how much she enjoyed the experience. We are very proud of both of them.

We’ve several entries for Friday/ Saturday – Recent 3rd at Aintree, Jaycol’s Star is engaged at Mafket Rasen and May well take his chance.

Jaycol’s Star looking well in the paddock.
