We’re on our way to Aintree with Wemyss Point and looking forward to stepping him up to 3 miles on this beautiful flat track. Tommy is riding and this is Wemyss first run in a handicap off a mark of 126 which is a hard enough opening mark – he actually went up 4lbs for standing in his box long after his 1st & 4th at Wetherby – the form working out well this winter. It’s a hot race and he’s a biggish price but following his tough win at Pontefract he must have a decent each way chance. Good luck to his Owners in the Green Oaks Partnership, 10 of whom are attending tonight.
This was Nathan Moscrop schooling Rock of Leon today round our working hunter course – doing different things with this quirky character had really helped and he has won 2 of his last 3 starts and 2nd on the other!
Welcome to the yard to ‘Cleoife’ a once raced Shirocco mare for Owner Heather Calzini who has also sent us the unraced Tocato Mia.
Further photos from today – Asum stretching out under Henry on the round gallop. He heads next to Kelso.
