This was our new Partnership horse at Arqana being knocked down to Phil in the ring. If you think you might be interested in a share in him please do join us next Sunday – no obligation – at 10 am to see this new 3 year old  in action up the gallops. ( Although if you can’t make this date we are happy to see you another time)

He arrives today from France and will have a couple of easy days to recover from his long trip.

The plan is to geld him after the Viewing Morning,  recovery only takes a fortnight and he will be schooled up and prepared for a juvenile hurdle campaign this Autumn. He is also likely to contest some  flat handicaps locally and we look forward to having plenty of fun with him – he is big and robust and behaved very well at the sales, he clearly had a straightforward temperament. He is the stamp to make a jumper and Cape Cross has bred plenty of good winners over hurdles, even though he was a top flat stallion. His dam is Kong Moon, a full sister to the Group 2 Pretty Polly winner, Hanami and the Listed placed, Soho Rose. Kong Moon has so far bred two winners, Honzik Chipero and Only Imagine. Mangata as he is called has had a few runs on the flat and he was 4th on his latest start in a competitive race.

The initial cost will be £500 for the 5% share Ownership plus £675 for the first 6 months, followed by £675 6 months later. Nothing further to pay – this is all in for the year.
