Eastview Boy bids for Chase win no. 2 tomorrow at Uttoxeter
Transient Bay
We have a busy day at the races if Uttoxeter passes its 7.30 am inspection tomorrow – the fleece covers are down and the track remain ‘hopeful’ that racing will go ahead.
Our four runers are Eastview Boy, Man in Black, Discay and Transient Bay, with our most likely winner no doubt being Newcastle Scorer, Eastview Boy who has been
Discay
largely consistent over fences this season, and has a win and a 2nd from 4 starts over the bigger obstacles. ‘Willie’ as he is known at home, handles the ground and his jumping usually warms to the task, he has been pretty clever so far. Good luck to his Owner/Breeders ‘Eastview Thoroughbred’s who can’t be there tomorrow so that makes him even more likely to run well! The same good wishes to Owners Nobaj ltd, The Waking Ned Partnership and John & Linda Oldroyd. Adam Nicol rides Eastview Boy and Discay, who ran well on his last start before a well earned break – and Tommy gets the leg up on Transient Bay who needs to bounce back from some lacklustre runs, but has run well here – and the novice handicapper, Man in Black who has had a lot of problems and just 7 appearances in a career that begun in 2013. This is his second run back after two years off. Keeping horses sound is one of the biggest frustrations in training, its often one step forward and two back, as its been with this lad.
