Tony and Julia Land who are Owners in three of our Partnerships were interviewed for this super piece in Sunday’s Racing Post supplement today. We hope it’s their first of many winners with us….
It was by coincidence that ‘Colin’ ( Call it On) went to his new permenant loan home with Lori from Scotland today. She has already reported him to be settled well and eating his haylage. It’s such a shame that an injury cut short his career just when he appeared to be in his absolute prime – he is not one that we are going to forget in a hurry though, he had been part of our racing life for a lot of years.
Another Partnership horse who has been retired is Factor Fifty – he has been with his new Owner Sarah Cobb for the past three weeks and she thinks the world of him already. I was sent this photo of him today in his new zebra rug below. Getting these updates and photos of the horses so happy is a very satisfying part of the job, although finding suitable long term homes is really difficult and can take time. We are still seeking a good hacking / riding club home for our fantastic little gelding Goldan Jess.
And I can’t finish tonight’s piece without mentioning Perennial who is now in his new home with Katy and predictably enjoying the quieter life!
