‘Eddie’ back over hurdles…
Up at Musselburgh Phil has taken ‘Wemyss Point’ for his bumper debut in a now 6 runner field, not many runners no doubt due to the quick ground , but he should appreciate it as he has a fast ground action, and although he is quite a green horse, he should stay well and is fit enough for his debut. Whatever happens though, Phil feels he will come on a lot mentally for the outing as he is not always fully switched on yet – he has taken time but is a good looking well bred son of Champs Elysees out of an unraced daughter of Oaks winner Wemyss Bight. We couldnt have afforded him as a yearling!
