We are celebrating a battling win from the ultra tough little ‘Nautical Nitwit’ for The Birrafun Partnership – Adam gave him a lovely waiting ride today and he got up just when it mattered to win the 0-140 Handicap. His next stop may well be a handicap at Cheltenham. He may be small but he is all heart and is in the mould of our other good little hurdlers, Goldan Jess and Amazing King.
Improved got a little tired on his seasonal debut but pleased us with his jumping. Both horses came back safe and sound.
We have welcomed a new yearling filly this afternoon, bought by Ace Bloodstock at Book 2 of Tatts sales in Newmarket. She is by Pour Moi and is a smart looking, scopey well grown yearling.
