Tuesday at Wolverhampton

Its a much better morning than yesterday and once the mucking out has all been done there will be a much increased string setting off round the 100 acres here for exercise. City Dreams will

be leaving for Wolverhampton around ten thirty – she ran well on her first start back after a break, just run out of it by the post – there is no way she will be allowed to go off 20-1 today, and we hope she can find that bit of improvement to win and record our first victory for the new yard and for her Owner Brian Dunn.

With quite a few entries for the weekend we are very much in the hands of the weather for where they go- Improved wants good ground so we may see him at Carlisle whereas Transient Bay handles it really soft- Uttoxeter is looking his most likely venue at present.

Lady Chapp is just three weeks off foaling , she has now gone to the stud , and we can’t wait to see her Presenting offspring – three colts on the ground so far this year, it would be a minor miracle to get a fourth but we will be happy whatever she has if she foals safely. She usually has big foals and by the size of her, this one will be no exception!

Helen Wood has already visited the mighty ‘Martaline’ so fingers crossed this first covering has worked, Musikhani is due to visit Farrh this week. We had an unbelievable boost to Musikhani’s pedigree page on Saturday with the colt ‘One Man Band’ making all in the Godolphin Mile at the Dubai Carnival on World Cup Night. He is Musikhani’s half brother, and what a performance, breaking his own track record for the mile again- he is some horse. Musikhani has herself had a bay colt this time, and his prospects have certainly been heightened as a result of One Man Band’s appearances in Dubai – he is just getting better and better.
