It was chilly up on the Moor taking photos this morning…I have taken quite a few, and also uploading some videos. It was nice to see new Dansili gelding ‘Istimraar’ (Tim) looking so well, he has been bought the Grech family who came to see him today and he enjoyed posing for the photos. Not sure i can say the same about Kyle!
He just did a quiet canter today, but he made Kyle’s arms a bit longer as he was pretty keen but its only to be expected in a new environment. He is a really good looking gelding and hopefully he will take well to hurdling later in the year.
I love this photo of ‘Forgiving Glance’ ridden by Philip dennis (sorry , cut your head off by mistake) , she is the Pitchall Stud’s 2 year old by Passing Glance, a very nice individual who is well mannered and can even be relied upon to give a lead.
The chestnut below is the unnamed 4 year old gelding for lease/sale, he is just quietly cantering away at present but he is a good sort with plenty of size and scope.
No runners now until Thursday when it threatens to be a very hectic 2 days of: Tattersalls sales at Newmarket, runners at Wolverhampton for both evening meetings (ouch, why can’t the second be a day meeting?) and runners also at Doncaster and Newcastle. Its the calm before the storm, hopefully at least the weather will be kind to us.
