Happy Christmas to all…no snow on the ground this time thank goodness (although it did actually snow in Middleham today) , and with Huntingdon already off (and Call it On’s chance of being a Christmas winner down the chimney) we rely on
BRUNELLO * TRIPLE EIGHT * IKTIVIEW* and EMBSAY CRAG
to bring us home a Boxing Day winner!
but first…
here’s a funny clip of exciting future novice hurdler ‘Perennial’ and recently retired ‘Word of Warning’ at Dibble Bridge last week….it might be a bit muddy but they don’t care!

Please can all Partnership owners check their emails for News sent out on Christmas Eve…
Boxing Day Preview…..With three different meetings for us, Phil will be going to Market Rasen and hoping he
can see ‘Iktiview’ put his blinkered head in front with Kyle James on board. Its a furlong or two shorter than ideal but he is a Course winner and with one other strong contender (also by local stallion, Iktibas) this looks a fair opportunity for him to record a third win – everything crossed for his Owners, EastView Thoroughbreds.
Waiting in the wings at home is Iktiview’s brother, who we have already broken in several months ago. he is a broader, taller, more scopey version of ‘Koyo’ and a great mover – we are looking forward to him coming to us in the Spring.
Back to the racing and ‘Embsay Crag’ will be
trying to gain his third win of 2013 in the 2.20 handicap hurdle at Wetherby, he is ridden by Richie McGrath his usual partner and he is off bottom weight in this 0-130 h’cap. With rain softened ground this could play a big part and he does stay particularly well although there are lot of in form horses and ‘last time out winners’ in the race. Good luck to Grange Park Racing & Owners associated with him.
Earlier on the card, ‘Brunello’ will be trying to land his first hurdle race, he has run creditably three times now, and went close last time at Musselburgh with today’s pilot, Adam Nicol on board.
There will be lots of Owners in the paddock with ‘Brunello’ – he is owned by Ownarachorse, and rather like Grange Park Racing, he will make lots of peoples day if he can post a Boxing Day win at one of our local tracks. Bruno has taken to hurdling with enthusiasm, lets hope he can find enough to win here – the Easterby horse looks pretty dangerous having its first run in a handicap and looks sure to take some beating but we will be giving it a good go! The favourite ‘River Dragon’ has its first preference to race at Market Rasen.
‘Triple Eight’ for new Owners The Redhotgardogs’ makes our fourth runner at Wolverhampton, and Eva Moscrop rides him in the 4.15 over 1m 4f. he is going down in the box with The Dibble Bridge Partnership’s pint sized flat and hurdle winner, NEXT EDITION who runs the next day over 1m 2f. Both look at little high in the handicap at present but will be doing their best to add to their winning tally in 2013.
It just remains for us to say a BIG THANKYOU to all our team who will be working hard as always this Christmas & New Year – all horses to be fed, mucked out and exercised in the morning as usual and none of this could happen without the ‘backbone’ of our yard – so many thanks to everyone involved. We had a good party to celebrate on Friday night and here’s hoping for some Christmas winners to get us all in good spirits.
