DUE TO ONGOING DEMAND and lots of happy owners in our Current Partnerships we have decided to create some new ones. We look forward to holding a number of ‘Breakfast mornings’ again this September for our Partnerships with National Hunt horses coming into training.

Please see the available below…

100%/50% FOR SALE or 20 Owner Partnership

Just purchased, this filly will be on her way across the Irish Sea to us shortly. A thoroughly old fashioned NH pedigree by many times Champion NH sire ‘Presenting’ out of a twice winning Old Vic mare. Both 2nd and 3rd dam also won twice and have bred plenty of winners. Dependant upon interest we will decide whether to sell her 50%/100% or make her a 20 Owner Partnership horse at £500 per share, with a set yearly keep fee of £1000 for Year 1 (breaking and training) and Year 2 onwards when running, £1250 per year. Our keep fees are always paid in 6 monthly amounts. Please register your interest. We were impressed with her strength & depth, her lovely free moving walk, and the fact that she’s from a family full of winning mares. Unbroken, un-tried, un-named.

This foal will be a niece or nephew of ‘Lady Buttons’

Names being taken now for those interested in joining our second Partnership that is formed even before the foal is born – We require a £100 deposit to secure your Ownership place in this exciting venture, and this will be taken at the start of October 2021 when a final scan is made to confirm pregnancy. As foaling and breeding is a tricky business, but we had a good heartbeat scan for ‘Lady Westerner’ (Lady Buttons 1/2 sister) in foal to the high class Coolmore middle distance young stallion ‘Order of St George’  ( proving immensely popular) and she came back from Ireland at the 45 days ‘in foal’ stage. With luck we can now look forward next Spring and the arrival of a new half brother or sister to Spanish Buttons and Smart Bucks.

Lady Westerner with last years foal Chico…

Those in our first ‘From Day One Partnership’ lived the whole journey with us , received news & photos during the night that their colt had arrived, and watched his first steps the next few days. The whole journey has been documented with his own private Facebook page and regular updates, and his Owners regularly visit him as he grows up here at Green Oaks. Here are some of his videos, and if all goes to plan we would hope the next foal will follow the same path. We can’t guarantee they will become a winning racehorse, but the have the best chance and are from a high class National Hunt Family . You will thoroughly enjoy the experience from their first moments to hopefully the first time they set foot on the track.

In a WELL BRED ‘YEATS YEARLING’ to make a NH performer

Your chance to buy your National Horse early at a price much more favourable than if waiting until he was 3 at the Store Sales. We are offering him at a price that covers all our expenses, not to make a big profit – we enjoy breeding on a small scale and if we can keep the ones we breed to race by selling them sensibly to stay on the yard it is much more enjoyable.

1st Owner to join chooses the colours.

2nd Owner to join chooses the Partnership name.
There will be suggestions and a vote by his Owners for his racingnMW

We all remember him returning from Coolmore with his amazing foster mare ‘Norah Batty’ .

His real dam is Lady Chloe who had a milk problem that year so he was fostered…Boris thrived and became a firm favourite with our Facebook followers. He is by a champion racehorse who is doing so well as a NH Sire, he is currently second in the NH Sire Rankings and he led the Sires table at the most recent Cheltenham Festival with 4 winners! His classy dam won on the flat and over hurdles for us but a race injury on her second NH start curtailed her career ( she had won first time out in her juvenile ). Lady Chloe’s first foal was ‘Lord Rococco’ who won twice over hurdles ( including a novice) before we tragically lost him. The family lives on with many to run for her including My Strong Man & Lady’s Present for this coming winter plus 3 year old ‘Sentimental Lady’ , 2 year old ‘Milo’ yearling ‘Boris’ and foal ‘Desi’ . They are all really good looking sorts. Boris is a typical chunky Yeats colt with a bold attitude and good bone.

This was his half brother Lord Rococco winning his second hurdle race.

Boris is about to get his own private Facebook page – watch his journey every step of the way as he grows up at Green Oaks, visit him any time you wish and enjoy the dream with us as breeders of this special colt. As an Owner you will receive the same info by email as on fb if you are not on there – he will also have his own YouTube channel for videos.

20 OWNERS in the Partnership…

£1000 PLUS VAT  EACH PER SHARE TO PURCHASE (VAT RETURNABLE) to inc all keep fees for 2021, no further VAT payments to make on future keep payments.

Shares can be ‘shared’ in your family unit. More than one share can be purchased. All owners will be listed for everyone to see.

2 Payments of £300  for his 2 YEAR OLD YEAR 2022

2 payments of £500 for his 3 year old year 2023 (includes breaking in and light training)

2 payments of £625 in his 4 year old year (he may run Autumn 2024) and for future years. This is our ‘all in’ price for all 20 Owner Partnerships that covers all eventualities.

As one of our Partnership horse Boris’s future is assured, he will never be sold on and eventually be found a permanant loan home when his racing days are over.

We have a couple of ‘free to own’ shares available in WINFOLA & MY STRONG MAN (Tonto).

Winfola who has a date planned at Market Rasen

The Silver Linings Partnership with ‘Winfola’ – A 21 Owner Partnership.

Beautiful grey mare ‘Winnie’ (a 4 x time winner) has struggled off her FRENCH FLAT MARK but is now down to a really enticing mark of 52 on the flat and has just had a wind surgery procedure. We feel that she is still more than capable judged on her homework & hope that this is going to give her the edge to get her head in front, she was 5th recently at Catterick over a mile and a half. Winnie is FREE to become an Owner & join the Partnership, you only pay for her keep fees. At present there is just June and July to pay to join (£198.41)and have a runner at our local tracks this summer. We will be renewing in August if we have made the progress we are hoping for. This will be a 6 month renewal on August 1st and if you wish to remain in the fee will be £595.23. There is no tie in if you do not wish to remain an Owner and you would still receive your share of any prizemoney won. Becoming an Owner in her means a Badge when she runs plus an extra at half price (can be affected by Covid restrictions) and your share of any prize money – you can visit her at home anytime you wish and watch her on the gallops. Private Facebook page for Owners. Regular updates by email of photos & videos.

The Platinum Partnership with ‘MY STRONG MAN’ (Tonto) 20 owners

My Strong Man ( Tonto)

‘Tonto’ finished off last season with a really promising run UNTIL he managed to fall at the last at Wetherby when a length down but still with some in hand, felt Tommy. We now feel we have the key to this Authorised gelding who has an attractive mark of 81 to be competitive in local novice handicap hurdles. His form looks uninspiring last season (after some promising juvenile hurdle runs) until we found something that had been troubling him in his back – that was fixed – he started working much better and the Wetherby run gave us all hope that we can get back on track. Being a homebred and owning the family we are very keen to get a 1 next to his name as soon as possible. We turned him away for a good summers grass but he’ll be back in to run from the start of October and is a really likeable handsome horse. New Joiners can become an Owner in him at NO COST for the share, you pay a mid term keep charge of £416 which takes you from 1st June up to 1st October when he will have either had one run or be ready to run. This includes his training fees and he will then RENEW on October 1st at a charge £626 for the next 6 months. Never any extras, this is an all in charge. No tie in at any time. becoming an owner in Tonto means you get an Owners badge each time he runs (Covid numbers permitting) and a guests at half price plus your share of any prize money. You are also welcome anytime to see him at the yard. It’s a friendly, happy partnership with a few shares available. He is only 5 years old and we’d like to think there is improvement to come. Become part of his journey. Private Facebook page for Owners. regular email updates of videos and photos.

Sentimental Lady’

3 yr old filly by DOYEN x LADY CHLOE

2 x 25%  (£4000 each) or 50% available £8,000.

Correct and substantially built National Hunt Mares prospect. Proven Cheltenham Festival Sire ‘Doyen’ is by Sadler’s Wells and responsible for many of Ireland’s recent top priced Pointing superstars selling at the Cheltenham Sales the last 2 years. 50% already sold to stay on the yard. This is a very good looking proper NH stamp of filly.  Chunky and good mover. Broken in this Spring and turned away. Exciting for mares NH races 2022 onwards. Half brother Lord Rococco who we sadly lost was talented over hurdles, winning his novice and 2nd in 2 other novices then winning his handicap hurdle.
