Golfe Clair Wins!!

Yesterday new addition to the yard Golfe Clair started as we hope he intends to continue with a great win in fine fashion at our local track Sedgefield. Tommy challenged for the lead 2 from home with just the Donald McCain favourite and himself pulling clear of the field to eventually win comfortably by nearly 3 lengths. Congrats to owner Peter Rawcliffe and all connections. A great start to the jumps season for us!

Also at Sedgefield we had Be The Difference who seemed a bit too keen to see his race out unfortunately and Willing To Please ran a very pleasing race at Carlisle for a close up 3rd.

No runners for the weekend, but looking forwards to Monday we have Lord Torranaga making a bid to land himself a double as he goes for the 1mile3f amateur handicap at Ripon. Also on Monday we have Victor (pictured holding Willing To Please above) with his horse Robert Johnson running at Wolverhampton in the 1mile4f h’cap with Billy Garritty on board. Best of luck to all runners, riders and connections, lets hope we can start the week with a winner!
