Mondays News & Friday’s winner!

What a start for the Owners of ‘Willing to Please’ – she came good at Redcar on her first run for them, and proved a good claim after she had been second on three previous occasions. ‘Wendy’ as she is now known at the yard was led up by Katie who duly won Best Turned Out, her 3rd BTO win in a week! The mare won in the ‘Mr Carbonator’ colours of Alan and Ann Fairurst, in Partnership here with The Redhotgardogs.

We have 2 runners at Wolverhampton today, Juriste and recent winner, Fircombe Hall, they go in the 5.50 and 6.20 and Fircombe is currently favourite for the 5f handicap – his main market rival was made a non runner although it is still a trappy event. Billy Garritty renews the partnership, it was a winning one at Carlisle 7 days ago and her carries a 6lb penalty as a result. Best of luck to our Owners tonight 🤞🏻🍀

We’re excited for the build up to The Northumberland Plate at Newcastle on Saturday – STARGAZER is fit and firing ahead of his big date, we just need to make the cut now! 96 has just got in the last 2 runnings, and he is off 96 so everything crossed. Red Force One is also entered but unlikely to get in.

Our Irish purchase arrived today, the Presenting mare duly named ‘Glamorous Icon’ . She has had a leg stretch and looks a kind sort with a really athletic walk. Looking forward to bringing photos of her in the next few days. She is a new 20 share Partnership, and we look forward to showing her to you if you would like to view. We also welcomed the young mare ‘Liberty Blaze’ by Starspangledbanner for Owners, Hope Eden Racing. She holds 2 entries at Newcastle on Friday and she has had 6 career starts to date.

On Saturday we were pleased to celebrate Joyce’s winner ‘Misscarlett at the yard, Megan making a beautiful cake for her as a ‘well done’ and Joyce was delighted. Let’s hope the winners for her continue now 💜

Megan has also been busy with her camera taking some lovely shots in the sunshine…

Stargazer in action at the weekend

We’re excited to see the debut of the PKR Club’s ‘Happy Go Lottie’ on Friday at Doncaster even if it does contain some very blue blooded fillies, a full sister to Frankel amongst them no less! A good experience & a positive attitude is all we ask for until she can appear in handicap company, and she took her stalls training nicely this morning with Nick on board. There is still time to join to be an Owner in her & NH prospect ‘Green Oaks Top Cat’ it’s just £49 for 12 months and our first club morning is on July 3rd. Email for full details.

Here is ‘Lottie’ having a racecourse gallop workout… all excellent experience before the big day. Lead horse is STARGAZER with Henry. This is the sort of video our club members regularly enjoy…

And to finish we were thoroughly spoiled again by our Scottish Owners today, Betty & Jeanette Joyce – their ‘Betty’s arrival’ was just the job and its treats now for everyone for a few days to come 😊👏
