Tuesday news

We had a great Cheltenham last year with Rayna’s World coming 3rd in the Mares Novice to record the best result for the North, but it’s back to the grindstone runners at our local tracks this afternoon…

3rd in the Mares Novice at Cheltenham last year – RAYNAS WORLD

Autonomy is our first of a busy afternoon, and he is our shortest priced runner of the day – best of luck to jockey, Joe Williamsom & new Owners HAMBLETON RACING with this good looking half brother to Derby winner and sire of Tiger Roll, AUTHORISED.

We’d have preferred the rain to stay away for most of our horses at Sedgefield, and it rained quite heavily here this morning but we’re hoping it hasn’t got into the ground to much. A particular good  luck mention to Mrs Joyce Porter with her Chaser, Oak Vintage – he was unlucky not to win here at the start of the season and he comes here off the back of a nice break although a few furlongs further would have been better for  him.

In Cheltenham news, Bushypark has been declared for Thursdays race but Phil will be taking a closer look at the ground before any final decision is made. He warmed up with a good piece of work on the grass a few days ago…
