Racehorse Trainer based at Richmond, North Yorkshire

Thurs 28th Feb…

Unfortunately no run for Stitch Up today as the very soggy Wetherby is off, but we still have a runner on the AW with Little India at Southwell. A previous winner here she has a nice handy field of 5 runners following 2 non runners, with a step up to class 5 company she benefits from a nice light weight against the field of geldings on the slow riding track conditions today. We hope to see her progress further under Hollie Doyle for her fourth run since joining us for her well run, friendly club, Hope Eden Racing – Hope Eden Racing – Racehorse Ownership | Racing Syndicate

Todays runner – Little India.

Yesterday… Wemyss Point proved he still shows willing with a good 2nd at Lingfield under Jack Mitchell. Only beaten by the favourite by 2 lengths he battled well and stayed on strongly, an encouraging performance from him for a good season ahead for his owners The Green Oaks Partnership. 5 points for those of you with him in your ’10 To Follow’ list!

Wemyss Point.

We have a couple of shares available in Wemyss, who now holds an entry for Kempton on Wednesday in a similar contest to yesterdays – he could be set to improve further if taking to the track. He looks ready for a great season and he will also resume hurdling off his classy mark of 132 in the Spring on better ground. You could be straight into a winner….🤞🏻Just £200 to buy a share ( currently 18 of 20 maximum spaces filled) – every benefit of a single Owner just less cost involved! £575 for the next 5 months, followed by £625 from July 1st – end of December, all in, no extras. Wemyss has his own email group and private Facebook page for Owners. Weekly photos, videos & updates. Prizemoney at the end of each year. No tie in. He is a great character too, and he has won some good races for us on the flat and over hurdles at Wetherby. Visit anytime once restrictions lifted 🤦‍♀️ If interested please ring or email Pippa on 07711709876/ pippakirby@icloud.com.

It was our long serving farrier Toby Pedley’s birthday yesterday, and what better way to celebrate than spending it here shoeing?!! Happy Birthday Toby!!!

Fancy a ride on the beach?! Feel close to the action watching this GO PRO video below from aboard Whoshotthesherrif with Phil and his supporting cast of My Strong Man, Iconic Belle, Idyllico & Glory of Paris. A great hour spent by all! 🐎

Back in the yard we captured this lovely interaction between our resident ginger Top Cat and Burrow Seeside. Horse intrigued by his furry visitor and Top Cat in no rush to move on from the attention….
