A Winning New Years Day!

Mr Carbonator took his chance for his moment of glory and didn’t disappoint to be crowned our New Years Day winner at Southwell. As genuine as he ever was, he gave us a great winning start to 2021 with another win at his fav track, making it a nice double for jockey Ben Curtis on his first day back in the saddle following his shockingly bad fall at Wolverhampton which he was lucky enough to walk away from. Undoubtedly one of our easiest horses to train, not too keen or lazy at home, always eats, doesn’t have any bad habits and always puts his all in at the track. Safe to say if they were all as little bother to keep right as Carbs, Phil would probably still have all his hair! To top it off he won Best Turned Out which Katie (who led him up) has kindly given to Thomas who has been his daily rider for months and loves him. Congrats to all connections and we hope to continue with the winning theme to 2021, thanks Carbs!!!

Mr Carbonator nails his New Years Day win!

The hard work continues at home despite the festive celebrations, all getting exercised at home as usual and another trip to the beach – this time for 3 of our young bumper horses Son Of Somme, Big Ears and Mountain Glory, along with Kangaroo Valley and Stargazer as the supervising ‘adults’….
