Fri 16th Oct….

It was a day of 2nds yesterday with Sheriff making an impressive solid performance for his chasing debut at Carlisle in hot company, an exciting finish with 4 in with a chance at the last, he loved the battle to the line and stuck his neck out to stay on well for a very narrow defeat. A top effort and we are excited to see what his season ahead holds for him.

Sheriff home safe and sound from Carlisle last night.

Later that day we had Mr Carbonator having an equally close 2nd at Southwell. Another of his ultra consistent efforts from this honest horse saw him very nearly in the winners spot, getting his head in front but just not quite holding on for the last few yards. So frustrating for him as he puts in 100% every time.

5 points each for both runners yesterday to add to your ’10 To Follow’ score if you are joining in!

Mr Carbonator – so very nearly!

Tomorrow we have 6 runners. At Market Rasen we have the very pretty Dame De Ruban making her first appearance since joining us, along with Pennine Cross, Louis’ Vac Pouch and Wye Aye all having their season debuts. Just round the corner from home at Catterick will be Rayna’s World and Gordalan both getting their first run of the season in the Apprentice h’cap. Good luck to all and come home safe.

The gorgeous Dame De Ruban.
