Heading to Uttoxeter, our novice hurdle duo

Our first National Hunt horses make a start today, we’ve been over 4 months without a jumps runner but Tommy Dowson is back in the plate and we have a runner in each of the novice hurdle divisions at Uttoxeter at 12.55 & 1.55. Both horses are learning their trade and will be seen to best effect when eventually able to contest novice handicaps, but they’ve done plenty of schooling and are ready for their first assignments.

In sharp contrast up at Ayr we have the Dark Angel colt Dark Zeas making his debut racecourse appearance in the first race at 12.40. Phil left with him at the crack of dawn and he contests the 9 runner novice stakes over 6f with D Nolan on board. He’s a good looking colt that has been straightforward since he joined us. Wishing our Owners with runners today the very best of luck 🍀
