Extra News Tuesday

We welcomed the Racing TV cameras last week and  ‘Luck on Sunday’  saw the first showing of the piece about Lady Buttons with interviews from Phil, Jayne & Jennie  – it’s just uploading to YouTube and it will be posted here in the morning in case you missed it on our fb & Twitter pages. They have made a lovely feature – Thank you Racing TV 👏

For anyone waiting for their Lady Buttons print, thankyou for your patience – they have arrived from the printers and are beautiful quality.

Numbering & signing is being done tomorrow by Phil, Jayne, Adam, Tommy, Jennie, Sarah & myself , and I hope to  have them all posted by the weekend.  There are still prints available if you wish to buy one, please message me on 07711709876.

Wye Aye who is improving with every start

Tomorrow we have WYE AYE & Colm McCormack for The Well Oiled P’ship making the long trip to Hereford in search of his first hurdles win – he likes to go right handed and we’re just hoping it passes the inspection 🤞🏻 what a stormy few days it’s been, jump racing has been decimated. Wye Aye was an absolute tearaway when he arrived, and both Henry and lately Colm have done an absolutely fantastic job with him at home – he is swiftly turning into a capable novice handicap hurdler, and the horse who beat him over Christmas, Imperial Elixir,  has come out and won since at Kempton. The form is solid – best of luck to all involved and may the weather relent!

We also hoping there are no problems on Friday as Desaray Girl & Rayna’s World bid to make it a Valentines special in the Grade 2 mares novice at Sandown. Both mares cope admirably well with plenty of give, and each go there with chances despite Rayna needing to improve to feature, she easily well might and there is black type on offer. Desaray Girl has won her last 3 for us and this is a natural step up in class for a mare who we believe is going to make a high class Mares Chaser in time.

Desaray Girl & Will, her regular work rider

All is well with Lady Buttons who has been left in both the Mares Hurdle & The Queen Mother Champion Chase at these next stages – a decision will be made closer to the time.
