Fingal’s Cave

Todays runner is Fingal’s Cave at our most local track Catterick, which he could hack to if he needed to, but will be given the luxury of the trusty green horse box for his run at 5:30 this evening. He is a course and distance winner here and we hope he is due to hit some form for owners TheRedHotGardogs with Paul Hanagan on board. Good luck to all connections and come home safe.

We are steadily getting our runners for the winter back in and they include top performers Lady Buttons and Top Ville Ben, and partnership horses Northern Girl aka ‘Janey’  and Bertie Blake who is due to have a go at chasing this winter. They are all looking like they have enjoyed their summer out with a good belly full of grass and have hopefully re-charged the batteries ready to find their way back into the winners enclosure yet again! You will see in the pics below a few of them are yet to visit the hair dressers and are currently sporting some impressive ‘high lights’ the girls would pay a fortune for in the salon!

Show Promise

Good news for Show Promise…

‘Joss’ has been unfortunately waiting patiently for his summer hols as he had a hairline fracture to his pastern in his last race and has been on box rest for many weeks, followed by walker exercise. He is due to get the all clear any day now from the vet and will no doubt be delighted to get out in the paddocks for some sunshine and grass.

The 10 new stables are coming along nicely….

Izzy & Freddie

The Kirby kids have been very busy this summer, Izzy and Freddie qualified for HOYS at The Great Yorkshire Show today. Well done to the pair of them!!!

indy & Brandy

Not to be out done by big sis Indy and golden oldie Brandy have totted up 2 red ribbons this summer – the smile says it all, they both love the showing as much as each other.

There are many ROR horses out there from our yard and amongst them is the lovely Chloe’s Image, currently at the GYS doing what she does best with Beth. Best of luck to them….
