Ayr winner!

December Second winning in great style

What a relief to end our Saturday with a winner after the dissapointment of SOUTH SEAS not going in the stalls at Newbury. Wemyss Point & Rayna’s Workd had run with credit, Salhee’s City had found the ground a bit quick but DECEMBER SECOND travelled kindly for Tommy before switching into another gear up the home straight, winning going away and looking a really exciting prospect. He may run in another bumper or he may switch to the flat, he’s bred for the flat job by Teofilio out of a 6f mare, but has always given us the impression he will stay in his homework. Tommy said on pulling up that he was one of the nicest horses he has ridden to date. This was especially pleasing as Phil bought him for just £7,000 from Goffs UK in January, unraced, from Godolphin.
