Friday’s News

Little Bruce

We saw a storming effort from Little Bruce yesterday pictured here with Julie – a running on 2nd place after 3miles 6f round Catterick in their ‘Grand National’ – a brave effort and Nathan conjured some great leaps out of him. We see this as a race he can come back and try and win next season, he was the youngest in the field at just 7 years old. Julie also won Best Turned Out with him, a nice local prize.

Today we are spoilt for choice with 5 horses running – 4 at Sedgefield & 1 at Huntingdon.

NIVEN, MAGIC DRAGON, ADELPHI PRINCE, DARES TO DREAM & OAK VINTAGE

It’s a busy morning at the yard so we will review racing here tonight and wish all our Owners the very best of luck. If Niven could step up again and win his next stop could be the Tuesday novice handicap Chase at the Cheltenham Festival and of Dares to Dream can also follow up she is likely to be given an entry at Aintree in the Listed Mares Bumper – it’s a day of stepping stones for some of our horses and we hope that they can cross them positively!
