Friday at Catterick – winner!

A winning afternoon at Catterick to make it number 57 for 2018 – Nemean Lion was the star of our day at Catterick yesterday with a pillar to post win in the Conditional Jockeys Novice Hurdle to round off the card. Harry Teal claiming 3lbs gave him a superb front running ride and every post was a winning one. It was great to see the Well Oiled Partnership colours in the top spot at our local track, and he’s been a really good fun horse for them, winning plenty of races so far.

We were left thinking what might have been after the last fence fall of Lady Kyria in the Mares Novice Hurdle. Adam was just bringing her into a challenging position and she was in the process of running a really pleasing debut. Thankfully both her and Adam were unscathed and there will be other days to come.
