The Resdev Way our runner today at Stratford

Back over hurdles off a mark of 90, consistent flat stayer The Resdev Way is in the capable hands of Sam Twiston Davies this afternoon as he lines up for the 2.15 at Stratford, a 2m 2f novices hurdle. Both Tommy and Adam are unavailable but he won’t be lacking for assistance in the saddle. Resdev wasn’t a natural in his novices but his jumping did improve and he’s done plenty of schooling at home. We did have 2 runners declared today but Phil has made stablemate Pumaflor a NR.

We have a quiet day tomorrow but Wednesday sees Nicely Indeed and Show Promise at Southwell, the latter making his racecourse debut for The Philip Kirby Racing Partnership – an exciting day for everyone involved and us too as we bred him.

The Gaspara x Shirocco of which 25% is for sale, 75% sold. A seriously well bred 3 year old bumper prospect out of a Mares Cheltenham Festival Winner. He’s strong, moves great and is one we’re delighted to have on the yard. Enquiries to Phil or Pippa welcome.

The ten new stables are progressing well and the roof is about to go on… photo taken this morning. Once complete they’ll be having frames & doors fitted, be rendered, painted inside and out and the rubber mats fitted before we can offer Bed and Breakfast.
