Riding in the sunshine yesterday

We have 2 runners today – Jaycol’s Star makes his Juvenile Hurdling debut for a decent prize up at Hexham and Zig Zag goes to Doncaster for a staying flat handicap, he needs a decent pace to come off, they didn’t go quickly enough for him last time at Ripon. Wve been hitting the crossbar recently with several seconds so a winner would be very welcome this afternoon! Phil has had Juvenile hurdling in mind for Jaycol’s Star since he bought him as a 2 year old, his half brother Sakhee’s City is a more than capable hurdler and we would like to think this lad will take to it too, he’s schooled well with Tommy at home.
