We have 4 runners today, all at one of our most local and favourite tracks Wetherby. L’Attendue is the first runner of the day who is having her 3rd run, she looks like she is a nice horse to look after and be patient with for next season and we wont be in any rush with her. Wetherby may suit her well as it is a nice galloping, fair track with its easy bends. Ridden again by Adam Nicol today, we wish the best of luck to her for owner Andy Bradshaw.
L’Attendue at Sedgefield
Following her we have Rock Of Leon and Tekiblue de L’Orme both in the 2m3 selling hurdle. Its turned out to be a rather weak looking contest with Rock Of Leon surly able to take advantage hopefully if he continues in his good attitude he has been in of late. Ridden by usual jockey Nathan Moscrop who seems to get on well with him and keeps him in good humour with none of his ducking left after hurdles/fences which he has done numerous times in the past to either part company with his jockey or at least ruin his race chances. Good luck to him for owners Surefire Racing. Tekiblue could benefit from his drop in class today and jockey Tommy Dowson is confident there is improvement to be made with this horse – which will please Phil as he currently owns him!
Our last runner of the day is Aniknam who fell last time out at Sedgefield and has been struggling to return to his past form. He came home from his fall none the worse and we hope he can put it behind him today to show his true self for jockey Adam Nicol and owners Nobaj Ltd. There looks to be strong opposition from the Gill Boanas trained Floramoss who’s form from his last race at Catterick has turned out solid, with the notable jockey booking of Brian Hughes today.
Best of luck to all runners, riders and owners for today, and most importantly come home safe!
