*Kilcullen Wins At Hexham!*
It was another great days racing for the team at Hexham yesterday with Kilcullen Flem bravely fighting his way through the mud to win in the tough conditions in the 4 mile marathon trip under a perfectly executed make-all ride by Adam Nicol. He gave a solid round of jumping and gamely fought off the late challenge after the last to deservedly win by 1 and half lengths. This is his second win for us here at Hexham for owners David O’Bree, David McDermott & Paul Betts – big congrats to them and whatever the team is doing out there is definitely working – keep it up!!! Hangard also ran respectably in his second hurdles run for 3rd and can hopefully continue with his progress now going over jumps. The Racing Post verdict, making suggestions about The Eider…
We have hit the ‘Hot Trainers’ list with our recent great form, level-pegging with Mullins percentage wise….!!
Todays Runner…
We have Macardle making his first appearance since joining us. He was purchased by Les & Maureen Richards to replace their unfortunately career-ending injured Pineapple Crush. He looks like a good sort at home and we hope he runs well following his first 2 bumpers over in Ireland. We wish him the best of luck for Les & Maureen, ridden today by Tommy Dowson at Musselburgh.
***The Green Oaks Challenge Leader Board!***
It looks to be between the ‘senior’ members to fight it out for first place, but Tommy and Peter could still be dangerous if they strike lucky with their 3 runners still to go! PLEASE – someone beat Phil!!!!!
