Man of Verve

Its fair to say Man Of Verve surprised us all last night with his fantastic win at 80-1 at Newcastle! It was our last chance of the day for a winner and he came through for us to make it 4 wins for the Kirby team since Saturday! Under a master class of a ride from Shane Gray held up to settle in his first time hood at the rear to smoothly make headway a furlong out and pinch it on the line in a photo by a nose. Huge congrats to owners The Splash Of Verve Partnership – Sharon & Steve Harrison and Jerry & Jayne Glover. The horses seem to be in top form with Nautical Nitwit kicking the winning streak off on Saturday at Newcastle, then The Resdev Way at Southwell on Tuesday and Shine Baby Shine kindly followed suit on Wednesday at Catterick. A superb result for all the team following all the snow over the past week – well done everyone, long may it continue!
