Thurs 15th Feb…
The weather has been decidedly wintery for the past few days with numerous episodes of snow, sleet and hail, along with a nice biting wind – very fresh!
Phil has gone to the Tatts sales at Cheltenham today with a few orders to fill for some current owners and will no doubt be keeping an eye out for anything else that takes his fancy.

We had Phil’s new toy arrive here for a trial test…
Its a fair upgrade from the previous tractor and comes with the luxury of air-con and a radio! No doubt it will make harrowing the gallop and emptying the trailer a much easier task being a more powerful and much newer model than its predecessor. A much welcomed addition – a vital piece of equipment for the running of the yard.
Tomorrows runners…
We have Captain Bob running at Newcastle AW night meeting in the apprentice h’cap with Jonathan Fisher(3) riding for owner Malcolm Long. He showed improvement last time out for the addition of a visor and he wears it again tomorrow.
Man Of Verve also runs at Newcastle AW tomorrow for his second run since joining us in January. Dropping back to his winning trip with Shane Gray on board for owners The Splash Of Verve Partnership. We wish the best of luck to Man Of Verve & Captain Bob and a safe return home.
