New horse from Tattersalls – Stargazer.
Phil and Pippa are still down at the Tattersalls HIT sales in Newmarket today. Phil purchased Stargazer yesterday, a 100 rated 4yr old out of Sir Michael Stoute’s yard. He arrived late this morning looking well and was very keen to get stuck into eating his haynet!
Stargazer arrived safe and sound today.

We have Rock of Leon looking to redeem himself after a bit of a naughty duck out in the charity race at Aintree last weekend for rider Paul Conway. He has 3 hurdle and a chase win in his form, so he certainly isn’t without talent, but has been known to channel it a little unconventionally at times! He runs at Sedgefield in the 3m5 Durham National h’cap chase in the hands of our conditional Tommy Dowson for owners Surefire Racing. Tommy has been schooling him at home and he has been good, so hopefully Rock of Leon is happy with his new jockey and they will be on form tomorrow to do himself justice. Good luck to him and his owners and we wish him a safe trip round.
