Jaycol’s Star makes his first appearance in nursery company today at Redcar up in trip slightly to a mile with Kevin Stott on board. He seems to be taking a while to come to himself, but hopefully with a bit of patience he will find his feet in handicap company and progress. We wish him and owners Keith & Jayne Sivill’s and Colin Fletcher the best of luck. He is a half brother to another of Jayne Sivill’s horses Sakhee’s City who we are excited to see stepping up to chasing this season.
We had another work morning today with Nicely Indeed, Sakhee’s City, Askmemore and Lady Buttons all going well. Tommy rode Nicely Indeed and said he was very pleased with how he went. Yesterday we had last seasons 3 x winning star hurdler Little Bruce doing a strong piece with Allmyown, our Irish point winning purchase from the Donny sales in May. We like him a lot and hope he lives up to the fine stamp of a horse he looks to be.
