He is off to Uttoxeter today with Adam Nicol on board again to face yet another Dan Skelton favourite! Hopefully he can go one better today and reverse his bad luck last time with such a close battle to the line, he deserves to win one. Good luck to his owners Surefire Racing and all connections, come home safe!
It was a sad day yesterday for Stacey…
Stacey had her last day with us at Green Oaks yesterday and Meg had made another excellent cake to mark the occasion. We are sure we haven’t seen the last of her as she really didn’t seem to want to go and spent a good while going round the yard saying her goodbyes to all the horses, especially Sakhee’s City aka Sammy who has a found a special place in her heart! We wish her the best of luck as she returns to her studies at uni, but we are sure she will escape from the books and return to visit us, or at least the horses anyway!!!
