Courtown Oscar gets a clip earlier in the week ahead of his seasonal debut tomorrow

It has done nothing but rain here all day and everyone was soaked this morning, no one enjoys conditions like that least of all the horses, but they still have to all be exercised and do their normal work.

The ground at Haydock is soft tomorrow and may yet ease further ahead of Courtown Oscar’s first run of the season. He is having an outing over hurdles, 2m 6.5f , and he is 18lb higher than his last hurdle win so it won’t be easy. Top Irish jockey, Davy Russell rides and we are looking forward to seeing this gorgeous big horse in action again.

The yearlings are all now cantering nicely – we are very impressed with this lovely colt by Medicean, a half brother to Sakhee’s City.
