Next Edition looking in top shape at Catterick today

ANOTHER 2nd!!!! Out TENTH in a month…..but at least it proves the horses are in form. We were very proud of Next Edition today – he won his ‘race ‘ for second but couldnt cope with a horse who had plumetted more than 30lbs since 2013 when beaten just 7 lengths in the Derby by Ruler of the World…it proved an impossible task and hopefully the handicapper will leave us where we are and we will get another chance.  11 of his 18 Owners attended with their husbands/wives/ friends/ partners and it was a happy group who welcomed him and first rate 5lb claimer, Phil Dennis back into 2nd spot in the Winners Enclosure. We have just two shares left for a 6 month term in Eddie – at £675 ALL IN and receiving your 5% share of prize money won from April 1st- 30th September , this must represent great value. He won £850 today And has won over £33,000 in his career to date –   we look set for an exciting summer with him at our Northern tracks. He may go back over hurdles again at some point too – he has a win At Bangor from a small number of NH starts. Please email pippakirby@icloud.com if you would like to be sent details of this 20 Owner Partnership.

Our three runners today looked superb in the  paddock – led up by Julie, Kelly and Megan – they were a real credit to the yard. Triple Eight and Splash of Verve should come on for the run as anticipated, the soft ground found them out in the home straight.

Splash of Verve heads our trio of runners.

One of the highlights of the day was the five minute drive home! None of our Owners are charged transport to our most local track anymore.

No one will be getting a bill for tomorrows transport either as we now own Quadriga again, but he can be free leased for the summer  or bought to stay in the yard and he is favourite for the 7f handicap at Southwell. We are all keen to get our first winner on the board for the new yard.

Its so much easier bringing you photos and updates now we all live at the yard, here are some photos from the last couple of days…( videos on hold until the computer is fixed, currently uploading from the ipad)
