Its an inspirational story- we have already read the piece on the ipad app – well worth buying tomorrow, and its a huge week for Brian as he looks forward to his comeback ride at Southwell next Sunday aboard King’s Grey. For certain he won’t be doing overweight after eating at Phil’s BBQ last night….you wouldn’t call the portions generous!

Its late but Cavalieri is shortly to return home after his Nottingham outing. It was very dissapointing that he didn’t figure in the top places again and Phil is reaching for blinkers next time to concentrate his mind to the job. This was a step up in trip but he did seem to get home well, just not quickly enough! He is a lovely horse and we will remain hopeful of everything clicking into place now he is becoming well handicapped.

Tomorrow its Ayr ( Iftikaar) and Market Rasen ( Factor Fifty) . Iftikaar won’t mind any further rain as he has form on cut, but we will be monitoring the weather at MR tomorrow and hoping the ground has returned to GOOD for him to take his chance under Adam Nicol.

Iftikaar is pictured stretching out  here  under stable Amateur, Ross Turner. Ross has an entry on our Own Call it On at Doncaster later in the week.

Factor Fifty reverts to hurdles for The Topspec Partnership, this is a confidence booster for him and we certainly haven’t ruled out going chasing again this season when the right race comes along. All Owners please check their emails BEFORE setting off for confirmation he will be going, weather permitting.
