Thursday 9th April
Still no more foals despite this beautiful weather! Our fields are greening up and the horses are enjoying turn outs in the paddocks. Its been a long day for Phil, Simon, Adam, Hugo, Ross and who took four horses to work at Southwell, one of them being half ours and Keith and Debra Fosters- the Flemensfirth filly, Arco. She was well behaved and kept on nicely for Hugo which is good as she was barely rideable a few weeks ago!!
She will need the rain to fall before she is seen out in a bumper, she has quite a rounded action.
I am just putting names to a selection of videos taken by Phil and Megan over the past week, it should be uploaded by tomorrow evening. Here are some stills for now…..
Its a big day tomorrow for Keith and Jayne Sivills with their good looking four year old, Sakhee’s City who is declared for the Champion Bumper at Aintree. We are excited to be running this nice young horse who has a high cruising speed and will enjoy better ground than he has run on so far. Its a big ask tomorrow but we are sure he is going to aquit himself well.
