eNLIGHTEN ME VIDEO 7 GUMNASTICS 037The Partnership and how it works….

Purchasing a share in ‘Enlighten Me’ means you will be not be going racing with her until 2016, as she is officially a yearling and will not turn two until 1st January 2016. However, by becoming involved now you will be able to watch her grow and mature this summer out in the paddocks and then follow her every step of the way as she is lunged, long reined, taught to carry a rider and eventually start cantering away around late December time. It makes no difference to the price if you join now or in February 2016, but this way you are ensuring a place in the Partnership – the price will remain the same, £1000 per share, no vat. There are no hidden extras. If she wins prize money in 2016 you will receive your share at the end of the season, and when the partnership is dissolved at the end of 2016, and the filly is offered for sale –  as are the terms of the Partnership – we will give everyone the option to create a new Partnership to ‘buy her back’ and remain with her if there is enough interest.

Newly named ‘Enlighten Me’ ,  has been bred to make a two year old flat runner, her sire SIR PRANCEALOT was a most precocious two year old himself, being most effective at the minimum distance of 5 furlongs, and winning his first start in May. Her young dam, TEA CHEST, although unraced herself, comes from a strong dam line and her first runner to date is multiple winning colt ‘Clare Island Boy’ (a £62,000 yearling) who has won as a 2,3 and 4 year old, in the UK and Australia with an impressive high flat racing post rating of 91. Tea Chest’s second produce, a colt by Roderic O’ Connor sold for £33,000 at the Tattersalls yearling sales last October – he was well bought as he had been £15,000 as a foal. We will watch his progress with interest this year, if he could get some black type form on his page it would be very exciting .

‘Enlighten Me’ is Tea Chest’s third produce, and she was bought as a foal by Phil at the Goffs Irish foal Sales last November. She is living at our home yard at Dibble Bridge and is growing into a lovely looking yearling filly.

‘Enlighten Me’ (her stable name is Anna’ given the 50 Shades theme) will remain at Dibble Bridge Stables this Spring, Summer and Autumn, and go into light training in November at the yard we will be moving back to, Groundhills Farm , Lingdale, which is just 10 minutes away. If you would like to visit her at Dibble Bridge we can promise some spectacular scenery- we live in a stunning valley in the North Yorkshire Moors, and you will be able to take a tour of our yard and meet the mares and foals we will have here this year (six mares expecting) We can also offer a spot of private fishing if any of you are keen anglers, we have the River Esk running through our property.

New joiners will receive a special Envelope to give on Valentines day (if you wish) made out to whoever you want (please supply details) and a note ‘not to be opened until the 14th ‘on the back of the large silver envelope. Inside the recipient will receive an Owners certificate, an large colour photograph of the filly, a special Valentines day card, a welcome letter, a full colour Philip Kirby Racing January Newsletter and a copy of her full pedigree.
