Friday 28th November

foals and schooling 018Phil is on his way to Musselburgh with Kiwayu and his dog Sukey, she sits on his knee on the imageway! Its a damp foggy day at Castleton  but the horses are still keen to get out in the paddocks.  Kiwayu is having his third start over hurdles before his winter break, he appreciates better ground and it is hoped it won’t be too soft up at the Scottish track.

James Reveley was up schooling yesterday, he gave Stopped Out a jump ahead of his next race at Newcastle tomorrow – its a step up in trip but James felt he would cope with it after riding him last time.  We also have Dr Irv running today at Doncaster (Barry keniry) , he is having his third run for a handicap mark and will then be having a winter break. Lowcarr Motion in the same ownership of Irvine Lynch will be making his debut for the season in the bumper, it looks a red hot race on entries, a nice re-introduction is what is hoped for and he has schooled well over hurdles.
