Saturday 22nd November
Two non runners at Haydock yesterday means we have to wait until Wednesday for the next potential; winner – and four chances entered including Robin Ellerbecks’ homebred Mare, Bedale Lane, in the mares bumper. She had one run last year, and this will be her second start. Robin has also bred the smart half sister, the year younger Vic’s last Stand who we are really looking forward to seeing in action.
The foal purchases from Goffs Ireland arrived yesterday, and we now have three flat foals and two flat yearlings to run alongside the three National Hunt foals already bred by us this year. It is nice having a mix in the yard, and they are busy having rugs fitted and getting to know their new friends in the paddock. The Sir Prancelot filly has come to Dibble Bridge and she has teamed up with Hulla ballew’s filly foal, photos later.
