Tuesday’s News

We are pleased to report that both Henry Brooke &  Everaard are none the worse for their crunching fall at Ayr yesterday. Everaard was in the process of making a bid for victory, coming to the last with a great chance of winning knowing the tenacious way he usually battles.  Everaard thought he knew best and put in an extra stride at the last , giving himself no chance of staying on his feet but he was quickly up and galloping away. Luckily Henry had had a winner earlier on the card  for Evelyn Slack, so all was not lost.

Just Cameron had to survive a lot of hindrance at Carlisle last week, we made this video in slow motion to show how well Henry had to sit tight to keep the partnership intact. The loose horse was also very lucky not to create a serious accident.

Today i managed to catch Amazing King (perhaps he didn’t like the rain)  and if all goes to plan he may come back into training, he looks really well, if a bit out of shape! He will be going on the walker for the next couple of weeks to see how he fares. King is 10 years old now and has been off for 2 years since pulling up in a hurdle race at Market Rasen.  He has given us many memorable past wins, wouldn’t it be a great story if he can make a comeback?
