Its been  a quiet week on the runners front with Triple Eight at Doncaster our next on Friday followed by a number of young horses holding multiple entries in bumpers, in a game of cat and mouse to guess where others are heading and to see what happens to the ground. We should be seeing the first appearance of Transient Bay very shortly, the giant ‘Stenna’ whom Phil bought in Ireland last year for the Waking Ned Partnership. Last time out winner Embsay Crag holds an entry at Huntingdon and Ancient Times has been stepped back up in trip at Sedgefield in a 3m3f chase.

Thought some of you might like to see this painting I have done of exciting young  horse ‘Hail the Brave, he is a very nice hurdling prospect by Lahib.

Exciting 3 year old Givehim a Glance

We are all excited about the amount of lovely flat horses we have on for the summer, and today we see Bay St Belle and Jamesbos girl returning to us. In the same Ownership, Lady Heidi is progressing fine although she continues to prove a challenging ride every morning  and Phil Dennis, trusted with the leg up on our star filly, probably needs to keep eating the weetabix and buy plenty of glue for his saddle. He will not forget this season in a hurry!  Others  established runners to dream about include Eltheeb, Perennial, Kiwayu, Istimraar, Enzaal…..and a host of lovely young 2 and 3 year olds along with. Multiple winners Dr Irv, Just Paul, Pass Muster and our veteran boys Goldan Jess and Agglestone Rock are some whom we hope will be adding to their considerable tally.  Aggie is pictured below with Stopped Out who has been having a few freshening days round the moors of Castleton.  Monty will be making a return to the flat but has an important date at Cheltenham to  fulfill first.

Next Edition

Also at Castleton we are in full swing with three lots out every day and two stablemates who are enjoying being back in work are Next Edition and Mysterious Wonder. Both have enjoyed some free time in the barn and come back in looking great for it.
