Exeter Races & Saturdays Runners
Our southern trip did not pay off today but Pass Muster still ran well in 2nd, and owners Keith and Jayne Sivills were very impressed with the warm welcome they received at the track. The officials there went out of their way to welcome them, and invite them for a drink afterwards, it certainly made the effort worthwhile and would encourage us to travel down again – well done Exeter, we will be back! Pass Muster is fine after the race, and he will be found an opening sometime over Christmas or New year – probably back at Musselburgh as it is the most likely for good ground.
Tomorrow we have two nice young horses running – Woodpole Academy at Aintree for Boretech Ltd & Sadler, he has good form in just three runs in bumper/novice company but hasn’t run for almost a year, James Reveley is booked to ride and we are hoping for a promising comeback for him in this typically hot looking 2m4f handicap.
Lady Buttons makes her racecourse debut at Wetherby in the bumper and is priced up in single figures. We would love her to run well – her two half sisters are waiting in the wings and her dam is in foal with us to Shirocco…all are good, big sorts and this filly is by one of the leading NH sires, Beneficial.
Its a work morning tomorrow and amongst those having strong pieces will be Hail the Brave, Grey Command, War Lord, Lowcarr Motion, Factor Fifty & Next Edition.
