….firstly Dibble Bridge is not on fire, they are burning the heather on the moor next to us!! Dibble Bridge is also home to many other animals, not just racehorses….

Stopped Out did it in style again today – how fantastic for the yard and his Owners, the Well Oiled Partnership who have owned this 8 year old gelding since a yearling. Making all, he defied a career high mark at Bangor this afternoon and Richie gave him a wonderful ride to see off all challengers. This was a valuable prize to add to his his big Sandown win in the Spring, he really is a horse of a lifetime.

Racing Post commented: Plenty of these could be given some sort of chance, but STOPPED OUT, who has been showing some useful form on the Flat since last running over hurdles, was allowed to dominate and found more than enough when challenged to hang on. He´s a likeable type but will do well to have such an easy time of things in the lead too often.

Look in this evening to see a video made today of Dibble Bridge and all the equines…featuring Kim, Rachel and Alex . Its over 5 minutes long, worth a look to see how the two yards differ as tomorrow i am off to Middleham tomorrow and will be posting videos over the next few days of horses schooling (Transient Bay, Perennial and Hail the Brave will be schooling tomorrow amongst others) .

earlier news… Its a big day for one of our stable stars ‘Monty’ as he sets off to Bangor this morning in search of a win in their valuable handicap hurdle. Life is tough now off his handicap mark, but he will give his best and hopefully it will be good enough! Richie rides and the pair make a great combination, lets hope for a repeat of Sandown.

No winners on Tuesday but a sound effort from Elspeth’s Boy in the 0-85 at Wolverhampton, a step up in class off his new mark, his third last night was a good performance. Money team wasn’t placed, although it didnt appear to be the trip that was the problem , being in behind at wolverhampton at the moment gives some awful kick back and poor Money Team also got a scare when he collided with the rail on the first bend.

It was also a decent effort from Embsay Crag at Sedgefield, he just wasn’t able to quicken but stuck on for third in a competitive little handicap, well done to the Reveley team with their winner. Call it On found his big weight a bit much first time out but will be better for the outing, and Iktiview still needs some help from the handicapper. All horses back home safely which is always the best result. And therefore never a bad day!
