News Thursday 30th August

SKY KHAN SEDGE WINFirstly, All owners should have received an email with an 8 page July and August double newsletter, please check your inbox. It is also on the private page on the website now, you should have the pass word but if any of you don’t know it please do email me and i will forward it back.

On the left is pictured Sky Khan after his Sedgefield win – he is out in the paddock at Castleton and enjoying a well earned rest now.

Embsay Crag just didn’t get to grips with Carlisle yesterday , most likely the big effort 10 days previously had taken its toll –  it was always likely he would have a run with just the penalty but these 2 mile+ races take plenty out of them and you can’t always back the run up. Hopefully the same won’t happen to BURNS NIGHT today at Stratford but its always a strong possibility – he is running well in, but hopefully  this is not too soon.  Phil has gone down there with Adam and will be hoping to bring back win no. 49 for the year – and Burns Night back safe and sound, he is a lovely horse.

Just 2 more days until our HOG ROAST and OPEN DAY on Sunday all welcome, in aid of the IJF  starts 11 am  to look round the yard.
